About Shingles Systems

Traditionally shingles are sawn from a block and always tapered. They have a relatively smooth face and back, giving a more refined classic appearance which is well suited to a range of styles. Their thickness generally tappers from tail to head.

Cedar Shingles offer durability and sustainability providing a lightweight, environmentally friendly, water resistant roofing solution, providing natural beauty and the ability to blend into the natural environment. Suitable for a range of building designs including both modern and traditional architecture.

Cedar shingles are supplied in a bundle in random widths and can be applied untreated or with a timber preservative and fire retardant. They are double lapped and fixed in straight broken bond pattern similar to plain tiles.
